The participating vendors will demonstrate the technical knowledge and experience with the specified or similar circulating water pumps. The participating vendors will provide a list of current and past circulating water pump repair projects whereby they plan labor, materials and equipment required for repairing circulating water pumps. This list will include nature and type of work performed and total direct and indirect labor hours required.

Requirements for additional repair work, if any, will be reported to GP&L, including an estimated completion date for any services/work to be provided and the relate costs of such work. All additional work will require GP&L approval before the work begins. If unforeseen delays extend the completion date the participating vendor shall immediately notify GP&L.

NOTE: This pump is currently disassembled and available to view at the Olinger Power Plant, 13835 County Road 489, Nevada, TX, 75173. Participating vendors are required to complete an onsite inspection of the pump prior to bid submission. Visits to the plant site will be coordinated through Mark Dailey, GP&L, 972-205-3034.

Reconditioning/repairs of the specified circulating water pump will be based on the following job scope:
1. Pick-up and delivery:

   a. Vendor is responsible for pick-up and delivery of pump.

   b. Pump will be picked-up at GP&L, Olinger Power Plant, 13835 County Road 489, Nevada, TX, 75173.
   
   c. Repaired pump will be delivered to GP&L, Olinger Power Plant, 13835 County Road 489, Nevada TX, 75173.

2. Parts repair/replacement

3. Bids from participating vendors will include the following:

   a. Cleaning and inspection of all parts
   
   b. Labor to reassemble pump

   c. Performance of required tests, if any

   d. Pick-up and delivery of pump

4. Adherence to the following guidelines is required:

   a. Bids will show break-out (separate) quotes for new or reconditioned bearings.

   b. All work, services, materials and supplies provided in conjunction with this work scope shall meet or exceed the manufacturer’s original specifications, as well as any and all standards and requirements mandated and/or recommended by applicable regulatory agencies, e.g., The American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Hydraulic Institute Standards, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as well as any and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

   c. A completion report will be required before payment of services. The report shall contain:

       1. A description of work/service and date(s) performed.

       2. Pre- repair condition of disassembled pump, including as found clearances.

       3. All work completed on the pump.

       4. A schedule of labor rates.

       5. Cost and description of materials and supplies, including percentage discount/mark-up (must be accompanied by a copy of the manufacturer’s current invoice price for each item).

       6. Job scope total labor and/or material/supplies cost.

       7. A copy of all applicable test data.

       8. Copies of all photographs, if any.
