Legacy DCS is accepting Lumber bids for their Westside Landing development in the Northwest Austin, TX area, with deliveries beginning in August, 2018. An award will be made to a qualified bidder who comes in budget. The Buyer requests you call the number above for help and not Legacy directly.

You should find this bid contains common items and standard terms, many of which you may already honor, but if anything appears uncommon please advise Sorcity so we can review whether a change can be made.

If interested please read this ebid, the Sorcity Member Agreement, and email notices so you bid accurately and avoid bidding outside the guidelines.

This is not an automatic award to the lowest bidder, but price, quality and reliability will all be considered for award.

If you identify any conflicting information in this bid, you must get clarification before placing a bid, since your bid can not be withdrawn.

Please perform honorably. Bids are only accepted through this ebid so please adhere to the ebid process so you remain eligible for this and future awards.

BID STRUCTURE:

1. No Markups: Buyer is requesting your lowest straightforward price and not a price that includes any builder commission, mark-up, or rebate.

2. If you are bidding trusses, review each drawing and all specifications provided, then develop your Truss Package Price for each of the 3 floor plans, then enter each of the package prices in the Line Item Worksheet "Master Takeoff" tab where noted (highlighted in green).

3. Takeoff (Line Item Worksheet)

   1. First: Save this Takeoff to your desktop, then enter your per unit prices. Your “Total bid price” will calculate. Verify.

   2. Follow the Worksheet instructions and fill in all items highlighted in green.

   3. Enter only the “Total” from the Worksheet, in the bid box that will appear below when the bid opens. Do not enter line item prices below.

   4. Your Takeoff MUST be returned to Sorcity within 1-hour of bid end, regardless where you stopped bidding.

   5. You must bid the exact specifications listed, however substitutes may be accepted if approved.

   6. This request is for the loose lumber listed, so manufactured wall panels will not be accepted.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Sorcity follows the Institute for Supply Management’s (ISM’s) Ethics Guidelines to ensure suppliers are treated fairly and equally, therefore:

1. All clarifying questions or exceptions should be asked by calling the number above or through the Question & Answer link above.

2. Answers will be posted shortly thereafter for suppliers to view. You will have the opportunity to speak with the Buyer if they contact you to discuss your bid, which is when you can discuss your value add.

3. You agree that no assumptions are to be made, and that content, or clauses, not contained in this ebid do not apply, unless approved in writing by the Buyer and Sorcity.
   

1. This includes all lumber sold to Legacy DCS for the 41 homes and casitas included in the master list, as well as for floor plan options and additional homes not included in the master list.

2. You must bid on all items listed in any sub-group bid. No line items or quantities may be left out (check with Sorcity on any concerns if needed)

3. You must include all shipping/delivery costs in your bid (forklift is not needed). Only 1 package per delivery is likely needed.

4. Hot Shots: Supplier will provide any additional supplies requested by the Buyer at the same prices submitted in the Line Item Worksheet and within the same or earlier delivery timeframe. Delivery will be at the same ebid price unless otherwise agreed, such as where the Buyer may need it much quicker.

5. The Buyer intends to award all line items but reserves the right to not award a line item where the per-unit price is substantially higher than the market price.

6. You may not enter a per unit price higher than your catalog price.

7. Any substitutes that may be allowed must be equal or better quality than the item listed.

8. Performance correction period for this bid is 5-days from time of problem (see Sorcity Agreement for details on performance correction).

9. Any additional costs not included in the price bid, except any additions requested by the Buyer, are at the expense of the awarded supplier.

10. Price Fluctuation - Based on frequent price fluctuations in Lumber, Buyer agrees to a price increase or decrease at each 30-day period. The change in Lumber costs will be determined based on the cost published in Random Lengths (or, if such publication is no longer published, then based on such other independent publication as is mutually acceptable to both parties). Failure to provide price decreases on time will result in such decreases being retroactive to the beginning of the perspective period where those reductions should have taken effect and may be a Supplier performance issue.
