Austin Independent School District is conducting a reverse auction for
Kitchen Equipment Maintenance & Repair Services for their schools in the Austin area.
The agreement resulting from this solicitation will be in effect for an
initial term of three (3) years and shall start upon full execution. The parties
by mutual consent may renew the agreement for up to two (2) additional one (1)
year periods (a.k.a. Sorcity extension).
Please read this complete summary,

Agreement, in full, so you understand the auction guidelines and are properly
prepared to respond with a complete and accurate offer if your company

This is a district-wide program. All locations with kitchens are to be serviced through this award, which should provide assurance to the awarded
vendor that the dollar value awarded is intended to be met. The anticipated start date
for this award is July, 2019.
Although price is an important element of this award, this is not a price-only
decision. Other factors to be considered are outlined in the IFB document.

To ensure the
reverse auction bid process remains fair, any direct contact with the Buying Organization regarding this opportunity,
during or after this bid process, except where permitted, will cause you to be in violation of the bid process
(see AISD IFB under Policy & Instructions guidelines) and be eligible for
penalties (See the Sorcity
Member Agreement).

Bids will only be
accepted through this reverse auction. Bidding in any other manner, or
attempting to sell directly to one of the Buyer's locations will put you in
violation and will remove you from good standing with Sorcity for future

understands that no assumptions are to be made, and that content, or clauses,
not contained in this reverse auction
do not apply, unless approved in writing by the
Buyer and Sorcity.

honored for the duration of your discussions with the purchasing organization,
per the terms stated in the reverse auction. If you are unable to honor
this bid at any time, you MUST notify
Sorcity immediately. Please read the Sorcity Member Agreement regarding not honoring your
bid and related penalties.
