Austin Independent School District is conducting a reverse auction for Kitchen Equipment Maintenance & Repair  Services for their schools in the Austin area. The agreement resulting from this solicitation will be in effect for an initial term of three (3) years and shall start upon full execution. The parties by mutual consent may renew the agreement for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods (a.k.a. Sorcity extension).

This is a district-wide program. All locations with kitchens are to be serviced through this award, which should provide assurance to the awarded vendor that the dollar value awarded is intended to be met.  The anticipated start date for this award is July, 2019.
 

Although price is an important element of this award, this is not a price-only decision. Other factors to be considered are outlined in the IFB document.
